It was MJC open house on Friday. Was not that happening after all. There wasn’t a big crowd either. At ICS booth, we provided henna service. My friends and my hands got tired as we were putting henna for people continuously. But it was a fun and a good experience for me and was very happy by the fact that some people appreciated the design I drew for them. Not only girls, number guys too put henna. Was really shocked by that. ICS was also involved in the learning agora. we teached the disabled kids how to draw kolam (an indian art). It was indeed a fruitful experince for me. this was my first time working this close with disabled kids, they are special in their own ways. for some reason or another i felt really sad for them and almost wanted to cry (i am emotional person after all). but one of the lesson i took back is to appreciate the life that god has given me (thank u god) and also to help those people in need of help. All Muslim students, like me, can leave at 5pm but I stayed back to clear up ICS booth and thus ended up breaking fast in school.
