That’s rite, after a long time, finally an entry. There was dance practice in school today. Me, as usual, could not get some of the steps (but I will keep on trying and will do my bestJ). Seniors like Anis, Noorul, Mahes and Kalai were there. Dancers include myself, Celes, Rani, Sandy, Praveena, Srilekha, Jeevan and Mano. Most of them commented that I have a touch of Malay style in my dance…well…what to do…I am an Indian Muslim and also have some Malay blood (Father’s uncle side). Niwae, aft dancing indulged ourselves in conversation.
Usually, we will talk nonsense…but today we had an interesting topic which popped in between a nonsense conversation. We were talking about disabled people and the amount of sufferings they have to face. Some of the ppl said that, given their situation, if they knew that they are bearing a disabled child, they would rather not give birth to the child since they don’t what him or her to suffer emotionally and physically as they grow up. They said that it will be painful for them to see as a parent. Well, others, like myself took the other stand: Child is a gift from the god and he (god) has given someone a disabled child cause he (god) believes that they can bring him or her up well and good. Furthermore, it is through these people that we tend to appreciate the world more, treasure life as it is and at the same time have the heart to help those in need. After that wonderful conversation, we headed to Compass Point.
Compass Point. Lunch at Pizza Hut. Aft dance prac, so much of fats burnt…yet we headed for fast-food. Niwae, we talked about lots of things and also made lots of noise. After which I rushed off home since I have to give tuition to my Sec 2 cousin for math. On the way back home, called him and he said he cannot make it for tuition. Since I already boarded the bus, went home, showered, changed and went to Compass Point again. Compass Point only 3 bus stops away, so decided to bring my little cousin, as he was being very naughty at home. Met up with Sandy, Praveena, Kalai and Mano. My little cousin was ok at first...but aft seeing and hearing Mano talk, he started crying. It did not happen once but a few number of times. So, I had no choice but to bring him back home. On the way back home, he was like normal…being the cute-little-talkative cousin. After sending him home, I actually decided to go back to Compass Point… but Sandy called to say that the others might leave soon…So, I went to Hougang Mall since I had to duplicate key. Well, I guess my luck just ‘great’ today…cause the shop I was looking for was closed and the expensive key making shop was open. I could not be bothered to spend so much money on a cupboard key. So, lazed ard a while and walked back home.
Interesting day with interesting ppl.
